And if you don't have enough space in your suitcase or want your piece to arrive in perfect condition, you can purchase it in our physical store and have it shipped to your home . For Cocol, it's very important that the pieces arrive in good condition at their destination, and that's why we do our best to ensure you receive your purchase in perfect condition, which is why we take every possible precaution.
We know we often work with fragile materials that require special attention when packaging, and our experience supports us with a very low incident rate in our eight years of shipping worldwide.
On this page, we explain all the steps involved in shipping from Cocol, including insurance, returns, and what to do in case of loss or breakage.
01. WE REUSE BOXES AND PROTECTIVE MATERIAL
First, we want to let you know that we reuse the protective and packaging materials from the pieces sent to us by our artisan suppliers in order to minimize the environmental impact this type of material typically causes and to maximize shipping costs.
That's why our packages may not look perfect when you open them, but the important thing is to make sure everything arrives in good condition and that the ecological impact of waste is minimized.
02. WE OFFER optional SHIPPING insurance
This is an optional additional cost not included in the website rates, but it's very easy to obtain and pay if you wish and request it with your purchase.

In the event of loss or breakage, the insurance company will reimburse the customer 85% of the value of the item in question. To do this, it is essential to follow the steps outlined below correctly.
03. WE WORK WITH THE BEST TRANSPORTATION COMPANIES.
Cocol ships through top-tier third-party couriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, or MRW. We like to request at least two or three quotes from our regular partners to offer you the most economical option.
If you'd like to purchase several large pieces, please don't hesitate to contact us via WhatsApp or email so we can customize and optimize shipping costs.
Once shipped, we share tracking information with you so you can keep track of your order at all times.
There is a possibility (although this has rarely happened to us) that customs in the destination country may detain the package for inspection, and if deemed necessary, they may request some related fees from the recipient. This situation varies from country to country and would not be within COCOL's responsibility.
If you wish to use your own courier service, please do not hesitate to coordinate this with us.
04. WHAT TO DO IF YOU SUSPECT DAMAGE TO YOUR SHIPMENT
If upon receiving the box you see external damage to the packaging, if it sounds like broken parts, or while opening the box you suspect that damage may have occurred during transit, please follow these steps:
1. Record any damage to the packaging on the shipping company's delivery note and keep a copy of it.
2. Take one or more photos of the outside of the unopened box, clearly showing any dents or damage to the packaging and shipping label.
3. Take at least 5 photos during the process of opening the package, showing:
a. Inside the box
b. Packaged together with the damaged part(s)
c. Damaged parts with visible defects
4. Report the damage to COCOL by email at hola@cocolmadrid.es within 48 hours of receiving the package and send photos and a description of what happened.
5. Keep the box with the contents until we tell you or it is resolved.
6. COCOL will manage the incident with the insurance company to reimburse 85% of the cost of the part (standard condition for international transport insurance).
Insurance does not cover replacement with another part since transportation is not covered nor can we insure two identical parts.
