Pottery is the most widespread craft product, with a thousand-year-old tradition in this area of Granada. The first ceramic remains found in the Guadix region date back to prehistory.

Its clay soil allows for very distinctive ceramics, with indigenous forms crafted by the skilled hands of master potters.

This decorative object is the "torico" (a type of ocarina or whistle made of clay in the shape of a bull)
